The pace of change in the linear friction welding (LFW) sector has been rapid over recent years. Whether for design freedom, lead times or the ‘buy to fly’ ratio, the process is being increasingly used for more components in more industry sectors. TWI’s international symposium offers you an ideal opportunity to discover the state of the art in LFW equipment, and to network with key people in this specialist technology.
The International LFW Symposium takes place at TWI every two years, and has grown enormously since its inception in 2011. This fifth event will bring together major end-users, equipment manufacturers, universities and leading research & technology organisations to share the latest linear friction welding developments.
The event also takes place the day after TWI’s Aerospace Industry Panel meeting, giving TWI Industrial Members the chance to attend both meetings should they so wish.
